Terms of Service
& Subscription Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Know Thyself Oracle (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days in advance.
2. Description of Service
Know Thyself Oracle is an AI-powered astrological oracle that combines natal chart calculation (Swiss Ephemeris) with large language model AI to generate personalized, contemplative readings. The Service is offered for entertainment, personal growth, self-reflection, and creative exploration.
- Natal chart calculation from your birth date, time, and location
- AI-generated oracle readings interpreting your astrological chart
- Reading history and profile storage (registered users)
- Subscription tiers offering additional features
3. Eligibility and Account Registration
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Users under 18 require parental or guardian consent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity under your account.
4. Subscription Tiers and Billing
A free tier is available with limited monthly readings. Paid subscriptions provide expanded access including unlimited readings, extended history, and priority processing.
- Fees are billed in advance on monthly or annual cycles
- All prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes
- Price changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice
- You are responsible for applicable taxes (VAT, GST, etc.)
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time from account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
7-day money-back guarantee: New subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of their first payment. After that, subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
6. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer or scrape the Service's prompts, models, or data at scale
- Redistribute bulk readings commercially without our written consent
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt Service infrastructure
- Circumvent rate limits or subscription restrictions
- Use the Service to build a competing product using our proprietary prompts
Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.
7. AI Disclaimer

- Not a substitute for professional advice. Do not make medical, financial, legal, or other important decisions based solely on oracle readings.
- AI limitations. Generated content can be inaccurate, inconsistent, or incomplete.
- No guarantee of accuracy. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or fitness of readings for any purpose.
- Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for how you act upon readings.
8. Spiritual Content Disclaimer
Astrology is a symbolic language and interpretive tradition, not an empirical science. Readings are provided for self-exploration and reflection. We respect all spiritual and religious beliefs and do not advocate for any particular worldview. Engage with oracle readings in the spirit of curiosity, introspection, and open inquiry.
9. Intellectual Property
All Service content — software, design, text, logos, and the oracle's prompt architecture — is the exclusive property of Know Thyself Oracle or our licensors.
Your birth data remains yours. Individual oracle readings may be shared for personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial use requires our prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) fees paid in the prior 12 months or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions limit exclusions of implied warranties; liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold harmless Know Thyself Oracle and its officers, directors, and employees from claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA. Before formal proceedings, contact us at legal@knowthyselforacle.com to attempt informal resolution within 30 days.
Unresolved disputes will be settled by binding individual arbitration under AAA rules. Class action waiver applies. EU/UK users retain rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations. You may delete your account at any time. Sections 7–12 survive termination.
